We are so excited to go on this journey with you!

This 30 Day Challenge was created to help you develop a lifestyle of spending time with God which will help you receive direction for your individual path to significance. To make it easy, we created a 30 Day Journal complete with specific scriptures about purpose and a place for you to conveniently write out what God is saying to you.

plan to spend at least 15 minutes a day with God

It may not sound like much, but 15 minutes is more than more people spend with God in a whole week. You have to fight for this time, because, as we all know, once our days get going it's hard to pause.

If you're intentional, you will notice that it can be the best part of your day!

Get a bible or bible app and a notebook

This is a must! Visit your local bookstore, shop online, or download the YouVersion Bible app today! Be sure to pick up a highlighter and a pen so you can underline your favorite verses.

Decide what time of day works best for you

There is not a right or wrong way to spend time with God. If you're a morning person, plan on setting aside time after you make your morning coffee. If you're a night person, decide on spending time with God after you put the kids to bed.

Read a bible verse or series of verses

The YouVersion Bible app is great for this! They give you a verse of the day, and it's a great way to kickstart your Bible reading habits. Try not to read a bunch of pages and chapters, as this can leave you feeling overwhelmed. Focus on a few verse and let the Holy Spirit speak to you through them.

Reflect on the verses you just read

Again, take the time to hear what God is speaking to you through His word. It's one thing to read a verse and walk away, but something completely different happens when you take the time to meditate on the words you're reading.

Write down what that scripture is saying to you

It's best to have a journal nearby so you can write down the things God is speaking to you through scripture. It may be a little, or it may be a lot, but at the end of the month, it's great to look back over the journey you made. You'd also be surprised at how often you can look back over months, or years, of journal entires and be encouraged with what God was sharing with you at a particular time.

Pray over the scripture

Finally, PRAY! Pray that what God spoke to you would remain in your heart and that it would become a part of who you are. When seasons of life change and circumstances come at you, you will always be able to depend on the word of God to lift you up.

God's word never returns void!
